Hello to All readers To finish off this thread please find attached my report on the show. All in all a very good effort by the MYA and Mike Weston in particular Keith Coxon MYA Publicity Officer boat_show_2010_report.pdf Keith Coxon
It is good to see that Keith Coxon and the publicity teamhave done exactly as they said they would,and put on a fantastic event that should go a long way to promote the MYA to the outside world.
Without the tremendous amount of time and effort put in by Keith, Mike Weston and every member that gave up their time to help, the event would not have been the success it was.
Perhaps we can learn from this event and get more clubs to volunteer to hold "meet the public" events at their own clubs or districts to promote our sport to their local population. Thi
s will benefit everyone especially the club.
